RAILWAY EXPRESS COMMUTER BI- LEVEL
VIRGINIA, US
|

OPERATORS AT THE VRE HAVE 13 KAWASAKI BI-LEVEL COMMUTER CARS
operating on the Manassas and Fredricksburg lines connecting
to Union Station in Washington. D.C. Their only complaint is
that they don't have more. According to Sklannik, the cars are
a huge success in terms of equipment. "The Quality of these
trains is the best I've seen," he says The Virginia Railway
Express has increased capacity with the new bi-levels each seating
up to 140. Kawasaki not only manufactured the product, but provided
warranty support, technical troubleshooting and product enhancement
- ensuring that the Virginia Railway Express met and exceeded
its customer's needs
