Kawasaki Rail Car, Inc. DBE Goal

Kawasaki's, in accordance with regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation, 49 CFR Part 26, announces its DBE goal for FFY 2015 is 11.15%, for the period beginning October 1, 2014 and ending September 30, 2015.


M-9 MBE/WBE Outreach

For the M-9 Contract, MTA Department of Diversity & Civil Rights (DDCR) established a 10% MBE and 10% WBE goal, and Kawasaki is requesting proposals for MBE/WBEs certified by Empire State Development, Division of Minority and Womenˇ¦s Business Development (DMWBD) and listed in the State Directory.

Kawasaki to Supply M-8 Passenger Rail Car for Metro-North and State of Connecticut.

Kawasaki has been selected to supply M-8 passenger rail cars for MTA Metro-North Railroad and State of Connecticut. Current Contract is for Base order of 210 cars and Option order of 90 cars for total of $713 million.


Received Contract to Repair Passenger Rail Cars for Connecticut

In March 2006, Kawasaki Rail Car, Inc. (KRC) was awarded the contract to Repair Thirty-Three (33) Passenger Rail Cars from the State of Connecticut.

New Addition to Hyogo Works Integrates the Manufacture of Rolling Stock Parts
