This system offers passenger both safety and comfort.  To prevent passengers from accidentally falling onto the track or colliding with trains, the platform's screen doors interlock with the vehicle doors. They do not open until the train has stopped in designated position. This system also improves the efficiency of station air-conditioning systems and prevents the gush of wind that usually accompaies the approach of trains into stations. Features such as these contributes to a safer and more pleasant experience.
